The cuisine that we prepare at Kaya’s
is made fresh, and per order. We take great pride in our culinary
vision, using only the finest organic ingredients. Enjoy our delicious cuisine in
our newly renovated dining room, with our friendly knowledgeable
staff here to make your visit to Kaya’s a delightful one.
Also at our new location, come visit and see our new fresh
vegetable juice and fruit smoothie bar, and our display
case with homemade dishes to take-out!

I have used social advertising and Google to attract more customers. I have been a part of the small business association and gained referrals by sharing my business with other small business owners. Thus far has been successful.
Why do you want to pitch your business?
I want to pitch my business because it would help to create a social environment Abilene has not yet seen. It would help me be in a better position to give back to the community. I believe I have what it takes to serve customers and run a successful business. I also think the City of Abilene would appreciate such an experience with Cajun inspired foods.
What is your unique selling proposition? What is your “hook”, and why is your business notable?
“Where Presentation & Flavor Collide” My business is notable by the thousands of great reviews I’ve received when serving customers. My business is notable to be a profitable business. My business is also notable because we provide mouth watering Cajun inspired flavorful food, an amazing social scene, and creativity.
Describe the circumstances surrounding how you conceived and developed your business.
Kaya’s Kitchen was developed by family and friends enjoying the food I cooked, and from there I built on the idea of sharing my food with others. I created social media accounts, and then began to collaborate with other small business owners to host events. Events lead to catering, which has allowed thousands of people to try our food.

Being born and raised in Abilene, TX I’ve had time to build connections, meet new people, and gain opportunities for my small business. I truly believe that when you give your all into a talent you’re given, you’ll receive the best results. Abilene, TX as a whole has kept Kaya’s Kitchen thriving for six years. If it was not for the community of Abilene I don’t believe Kaya’s Kitchen would thrive as well as it has. I would like the opportunity to give back to my community. I’m truly grateful to be able to bring people together through foods of all kinds. I believe in aiming to please, and making customers smile. I will serve our community with outstanding service.
